Just waiting on Sandy….no school tomorrow, and it hasn’t even started raining yet, but the sky has a strange tint to, as if it knows something’s about to happen. A grayish-pink color hovers over the yellow and orange leaves that are waving gently in the breeze.
Whoa! That was “trying-too-hard” descriptive. Anyway, I’m actually still trying to figure out how to set up my little website. I wasn’t going to post anything yet, but I can’t figure out that silly sidebar to the right and why it has “random posts” under each of my categories. Aaarrrghh.
According to my “about this site” page (above), I’m supposed to share a devotional with you on Sundays, but I don’t really have anything ready cause I wasn’t planning on posting today. But have no fear, I will find something to share!
Let’s see…I was thinking how strange it is we are just waiting for the storm to get here. There’s a buzz about it all. Everyone believes it’s coming because the weather man told us. Some stranger pointed at a map and told me to get ready, and I am, even though it’s been kind of a nice day weather wise. It’s kind of like that with me telling you about Jesus. Maybe I don’t have as much credibility as the weather man, but if I were to tell you that God has a plan and he’s coming back, would you even pause and think about your life? Would you think I’m some lunatic with a flower to sell you? Or would you think it’s worth at least changing the channel and finding out a little more?
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” Matthew 25:13
